Gita Patel BSc (Econ), FCA Director Trapezia

Born in Kenya, Gita’s was one of many Indian families arriving in Britain in the late 1960s. “Those communities took risks to set up successful enterprises despite the odds,” she recalls. “Hard work, relationships, role models and personality – those are the big influences.” An active business angel, Gita held senior positions at NatWest, Arthur Andersen and Gulf Oil before co-founding StarGate. She created the Trapezia funds to invest in women focused businesses. Gita is a fund manager of the Trapezia funds and serves on several boards.
